As a Site Reliability Engineer at Kalshi, you'll be part of building a next-generation financial ecosystem (think NYSE or CME from scratch). Being a small team means your responsibilities scale rapidly, and your contributions are clear and visible. You'll work on improving observability, reliability and availability, build automation systems, collaborate with infrastructure teams, and be responsible for the security and operational integrity of the platform.
The role requires strong technical skills in system design, coding, and debugging. You'll need excellent communication abilities and experience with cloud deployments, monitoring systems, and high-throughput systems. The position includes on-call responsibilities and requires at least 5 years of software engineering experience.

The compensation package includes a salary range of $100,000 to $250,000 annually plus equity and benefits.
