KBR's National Security Solutions team is seeking a Modeling & Simulation Engineer Specialist to join their team working on critical national security projects. The role involves conducting modeling, simulation, and analysis (MS&A) of emerging concepts for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) using advanced techniques and tools.

The position requires expertise in AFSIM and programming skills in C++ or Python, along with an active Top-Secret clearance. The ideal candidate will work in a dynamic environment, thinking creatively while supporting decisions under uncertainty. They will collaborate with military experts and DARPA program managers to characterize architectures and concepts in simulation environments.

Responsibilities For Modeling & Simulation Engineer (Specialist)

  • Support M&S and software development efforts
  • Collaborate with military subject matter experts and DARPA program managers
  • Instantiate combat system, platform, and behavior models in simulation environment
  • Support development and instantiation of experiment design in simulation environment
  • Contribute to creation of quality deliverables and reports

Requirements For Modeling & Simulation Engineer (Specialist)

Python
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Operations Research, or other STEM field, plus 3 years of relevant experience, or Master of Science with 18 months experience
  • At least 18 months of demonstrated proficiency in AFSIM
  • Proficiency in C++, Python, or other programming language
  • Active Top-Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility
