Keyloop is seeking a Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer to join their team in developing and maintaining the Vehicle Hub software as a service platform. Responsibilities For Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer
- Enhance, refactor and maintain existing software as a service platform
- Determine suitable approaches for identified problem spaces
- Implement effective test coverage for solutions
- Conduct code reviews for pull requests
- Manage development tasks from initial assignment through to release
- Assist with backlog grooming and issue refinement
- Provide technical support to colleagues
- Monitor and maintain infrastructure
- Deploy to non-production and production environments
- Update software dependencies and maintain application containers
Requirements For Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer
- 7+ years experience developing with Ruby and Ruby on Rails framework
- Proficient with RSpec automated test framework
- Proficient at Javascript (native and jQuery)
- Proficient at HTML, CSS & JavaScript preprocessors (HAML/SASS/SCSS)
- Experience maintaining and operating production Ruby on Rails SaaS applications
- Experience working in agile development environment
- Experience with Git and GitHub
- Experience with Application Performance Monitoring tools
- Experience in implementing scalable REST APIs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in English
