Job Description

Join KION Group's Dematic division as a Lead Product Security Engineer in our Product Security Operations team. This role combines cloud security, automation, and DevSecOps, perfect for those passionate about securing cloud-native infrastructure. You'll be responsible for protecting and scaling our cloud environment and software development lifecycle through integration of cutting-edge security tools and automation of controls.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $160,000 - $198,000 and comes with comprehensive benefits. As part of a global leader in industrial vehicles and supply chain solutions, you'll work on critical security initiatives that protect our cloud infrastructure and applications.

Your responsibilities will span from integrating cloud security tooling and developing automation workflows to mentoring junior engineers and contributing to secure architecture design. We're looking for someone with 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering or security, strong Python skills, and deep understanding of IAM and cloud-native security best practices.

The ideal candidate will be both technically proficient and an effective leader, able to translate security policies into actionable engineering efforts while guiding application teams on best practices. Responsibilities For Lead Product Security Engineer

  • Integrate and operationalize cloud security tooling
  • Drive advancement of technical and operational capabilities
  • Respond to security alerts and drive investigation and remediation
  • Assist application teams in integrating cloud security methodologies
  • Identify and remediate vulnerabilities across cloud infrastructure
  • Develop automation workflows for security policy enforcement
  • Enforce product security policies as code
  • Contribute to secure architecture design
  • Continuously improve product security operations
  • Mentor junior engineers in cloud security engineering

Requirements For Lead Product Security Engineer

Python
  • 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or security engineering roles
  • Proven experience leading technical projects and teams
  • Strong scripting or programming skills (Python preferred)
  • Deep understanding of IAM and cloud-native security best practices
  • Familiarity with CNAPP, SIEM, and SOAR technologies
  • Experience operating in a 24x7 incident response environment
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle
  • Ability to translate security policies into engineering efforts
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
