KONE, a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry with annual net sales of EUR 11.0 billion, is seeking a Manufacturing applications and testing systems developer for their facility in Cadrezzate. This role combines software development with manufacturing systems expertise, requiring the successful candidate to design and implement testing systems for electromechanical subsystems while developing functional applications.

The position offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of software development and manufacturing, where you'll be responsible for creating and maintaining efficient, reusable code while implementing testing solutions for production environments. You'll work with modern technologies including C#, .NET framework, and SQL Server, while utilizing your knowledge of manufacturing processes and testing procedures.

Responsibilities For Manufacturing applications and testing systems developer

  • Translate application use cases into functional applications
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
  • Collaborate with development and IT teams to manage digital factory environment
  • Create testing solutions that can be reused effectively and efficiently
  • Implement functional testing systems from R&D test specifications

Requirements For Manufacturing applications and testing systems developer

  • Bachelor's degree in electronic or electrical engineering or computer science
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in manufacturing processes
  • Excellent ability to read electrical and electronic diagrams
  • Proficient in NI LabView
  • Proficient in C#, with good knowledge of .NET framework ecosystem
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
  • Familiarity with RDBMS (MS SQL Server) and SQL language
  • Familiar with code versioning tools (Git)
  • Basic knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies
  • Project Management skills

  • Ability to communicate in local language
