Job Description

KONE, a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry with €11 billion in net sales (2023), is seeking a Manufacturing applications and testing systems developer at their Cadrezzate facility. This role combines software development with manufacturing systems expertise, requiring the development of applications and testing systems for electromechanical subsystems.

The position offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of software development and manufacturing, where you'll be responsible for designing and implementing functional programs and testing systems. You'll be working with modern technologies including C#, .NET framework, and SQL Server, while also utilizing specialized tools like NI LabView for testing implementations.

Responsibilities For Manufacturing applications and testing systems developer

  • Translate application use cases into functional applications
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
  • Collaborate with development and IT teams to manage digital factory environment
  • Create testing solutions that can be reused effectively and efficiently
  • Implement functional testing systems from R&D test specifications
  • Following best practices around testing, defect tracking, test suite maintainability, and quality

Requirements For Manufacturing applications and testing systems developer

  • Bachelor's degree in electronic or electrical engineering or computer science
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in manufacturing processes
  • Excellent ability to read electrical and electronic diagrams
  • Good knowledge of testing procedures and technologies
  • Proficient in NI LabView
  • Proficient in C#, with good knowledge of .NET framework ecosystem
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
  • Familiarity with RDBMS (MS SQL Server) and SQL language
  • Familiar with code versioning tools (Git)
  • Basic knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies
  • Project Management skills

  • Ability to communicate in local language
