As a Product Engineer (Backend) on the Kota Embed team, you'll be at the forefront of developing APIs and SDKs that power embedded insurance and retirement benefits globally. This role offers an excellent opportunity for backend engineers looking to advance to senior positions through hands-on experience and mentorship.

The position involves building and improving core APIs, collaborating with senior engineers on architecture and design, enhancing developer experience, and working cross-functionally with product managers and designers. You'll gradually take on more ownership, including project leadership and incident response responsibilities.

The ideal candidate brings 3-5+ years of backend development experience, particularly with .NET, SQL databases, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS). You should be passionate about clean code, collaborative work, and continuous learning.
