[Publishing Platform Div.] Mid-level Data Engineer

KRAFTON is seeking a Mid-level Data Engineer with 7+ years of experience to join their Publishing Platform Division. This role is based in Seoul and focuses on building and maintaining data infrastructure for KRAFTON's publishing platform needs.

The position involves working with large-scale data processing systems, including Hadoop and Spark-based platforms, and managing cloud-based environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for data ETL processes, data quality management, and monitoring system operations. A unique aspect of this role is the collaboration with Chinese publishing partners, requiring Chinese language proficiency for technical discussions and documentation.

Key responsibilities include building and operating data platforms aligned with division product needs, maintaining Hadoop infrastructure, developing new Spark-based platforms, and ensuring robust data quality management. The role also involves significant interaction with Chinese publishing companies and contractors, making it an excellent opportunity for someone with both technical expertise and cross-cultural communication skills.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in data engineering, particularly in designing and operating large-scale data architectures. Proficiency in Python and Scala for building data pipelines is essential, along with experience in CI/CD, data validation, and monitoring systems. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and infrastructure management tools like Terraform and Kubernetes is highly valued.
