Platform Engineer

As part of this mission, Kuba is developing a new product for the French and British markets - an electric vehicle charging station and its integrated software ecosystem. To support its development and strengthen this "EV Charger" service, Kuba is looking for a Platform Engineer.

Your mission: Integrated into the Engineering team, your role will be to set up and maintain the infrastructure of the electric vehicle charger management systems and the development and integration chain infrastructure. In-depth knowledge of Amazon Web Services tools and components is necessary to enable you to carry out your mission successfully.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Deployment and management of the CI-CD chain infrastructure
   • Documentation
   • Commissioning
   • Writing deployment scripts
2. Deployment and management of infrastructure and software in AWS
   • Documentation
   • Commissioning/production
   • Writing deployment scripts
3. Support for development teams
   • Cost estimates
   • Search for cost optimizations
   • Writing technical specifications and maintaining existing documentation
4. Obsolescence management
   • Ensure technology watch in their field
   • Research and propose replacement products
   • Infrastructure update
5. Participation in service improvement (processes, documentation, systems, organization)

Requirements:

• Expertise in managing AWS services
• Expertise in system security
• AWS Certified System Administrator
• AWS Certified Security and Networks
• Fluency in English (read, spoken, written)
• Ability to write clear, precise, and well-structured documents
• Rigorous in following procedures and processes
• Great determination and willingness to succeed
• Flexible, proactive with a sense of responsibility

The Platform Engineer must demonstrate ingenuity, have strong personal motivation, be a relationship builder with excellent communication skills, integrate an involved approach with a determination to succeed, and have the ability to react quickly to given situations. The ability to interact at all levels with the willingness to be flexible is essential to succeed in this role. The Platform Engineer must have an accessible and open nature to ensure that "buy-in" to the function is consistent throughout the company while aligning with Kuba's pillars.
