Lambda is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Identity and Access Management (IAM) to join their team in a remote capacity within the United States. This role presents an exciting opportunity to shape the future of identity and access management in AI and cloud infrastructure.

As a senior engineer, you'll work with cutting-edge technologies and frameworks, using languages like Python and Go, while implementing infrastructure-as-code solutions. Responsibilities For Senior Software Engineer - IAM (Remote - US)
- Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable IAM systems, including authentication, authorization, and lifecycle management
- Build and refine access control models, such as RBAC, ABAC, and advanced permission frameworks
- Integrate third-party identity platforms (Okta, Auth0, WorkOS) at scale
- Develop and deploy features end-to-end, from system design through monitoring in production
- Collaborate with product, security, and engineering teams
- Continuously improve user experience for ML/AI cloud customers while maintaining security standards
Requirements For Senior Software Engineer - IAM (Remote - US)
- 8+ years of backend or platform engineering experience, including 3 years leading IAM initiatives
- Deep knowledge of IAM protocols (OIDC, OAuth2, SAML, MFA, SCIM)
- Strong system architecture skills for distributed, multi-tenant SaaS environments
- Experience integrating and scaling identity platforms
- Programming expertise in Python, Go, or equivalent
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Crossplane)
- Proven track record in high-uptime, security-sensitive environments
