Job Description

Latitude Inc is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Engineer with TS/SCI clearance to join their cybersecurity team. This role requires a seasoned professional with over 10 years of hands-on experience in information security engineering, particularly with FISMA and NIST security frameworks. The position involves leading security engineering efforts, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with federal information security standards.

The role combines technical leadership with hands-on security engineering, requiring expertise in system development life cycle (SDLC), risk management, and security architecture. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing security solutions, conducting vulnerability evaluations, and maintaining critical security documentation including System Security Plans and Risk Assessment Reports.

As a senior team member, you'll serve as a subject matter expert in security control implementation and provide mentorship to junior engineers. The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $120,000 to $150,000 annually and is based in Arlington, VA, requiring on-site presence.

This is an excellent opportunity for a security professional who wants to work on critical systems and make a significant impact in cybersecurity. The role demands a strong background in federal security frameworks and the ability to bridge technical security implementation with compliance requirements. The active TS/SCI clearance requirement indicates work on sensitive government projects, making this position ideal for those with existing clearance and a passion for national security work.
