This role combines technical expertise in low-code/no-code platforms, particularly Appian, with business process automation. The position offers an opportunity to work with a global leader in legal and professional information services, serving customers in over 150 countries.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing automation solutions across various business domains, including Finance, Customer Facing, Middleware, and Sales & Marketing. Key responsibilities include developing solutions using Appian, integrating with various systems and APIs, and writing custom code when needed. The role requires a blend of technical skills in Python, SQL, and API integration, along with strong analytical and communication abilities.

Responsibilities For Automation Engineer

  • Analyze business processes and identify automation opportunities across diverse domains
  • Design, develop, and deploy automation solutions using low-code/no-code platforms, primarily Appian
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, create mockups, and deliver demos
  • Integrate automation solutions with databases, APIs, and third-party systems
  • Write scripts and code (Python preferred) to extend platform capabilities
  • Ensure adherence to best practices, security, and compliance standards
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Document solutions, provide user training, and support deployed automations

Requirements For Automation Engineer

Java
  • Hands-on experience with Appian as a primary low-code/no-code automation platform
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Scripting and coding knowledge (Python preferred; SQL, Java, or other languages)
  • Experience integrating with databases, REST/SOAP APIs, and third-party systems
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
