Job Description

LexisNexis, a global leader in legal, regulatory, and business information analytics, is seeking a Security Engineer I for their Aspire Tech Graduate Programme starting in January 2026. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to launch their careers in cybersecurity.

The role is part of the LexisNexis Global Security team, primarily focusing on identity management projects and initiatives to strengthen the organization's security posture. As a Security Engineer, you'll work with cutting-edge technologies including privileged access management (PAM), identity management systems, and SIEM platforms to protect the organization's information infrastructure.

Responsibilities For Aspire Tech Graduate- Security Engineer I

  • Support the implementation of service requests following established procedures
  • Assist with managing security incidents and problems in line with service levels
  • Monitor compliance with information security policies and standards
  • Follow change management processes to implement changes securely
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of security controls
  • Help maintain and improve internal security tools and systems

Requirements For Aspire Tech Graduate- Security Engineer I

Python
  • Recently graduated or graduating by end of 2025 with a degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, Security Engineering
  • A strong interest in cybersecurity and a desire to build a career in the field
  • Foundational knowledge of IT security concepts
  • Exposure to scripting or programming (e.g., Python or PowerShell)
  • Familiarity with cloud or datacenter environments is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills
