Responsibilities For Functional Test Engineer
- Analyze application features and design test scenarios/test cases for end-to-end functional testing
- Execute tests, log defects and track to closure
- Prepare test summary reports
- Understand Requirement Specifications and influence software design
- Interpret business and technical diagrams to derive test strategies
- Communicate with business stakeholders and developers across multiple teams
Requirements For Functional Test Engineer
- BE/BTech preferably in Computer Science & Engineering or Information Technology
- Minimum 70% marks in academics
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Programming skills in Java, Python, Robot, Selenium
- Database knowledge
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Cloud, IOT (preferred)
- Knowledge of Agile Scrum and SW development lifecycles
- Knowledge of defect management tools
- Good communication skills
