Light & Wonder, a premier developer of games across Gaming, Social, iGaming, and Charitable Gaming channels, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Unity development. This role is part of an exciting expansion following the acquisition of Grover Gaming's charitable gaming business. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be instrumental in bringing games to life by leading implementation and integration efforts that combine art, animation, sound, and math into finished slot games. You'll work in a collaborative, small team environment with talented artists, animators, and game designers to create exceptional gaming experiences. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement in Raleigh, North Carolina, requiring 3 days per week in office to maintain strong team collaboration and studio culture. The role demands strong technical expertise in C# and Unity, combined with excellent communication skills and the ability to mentor junior engineers. Responsibilities For Senior Software Engineer (Unity)

  • Design, code, integrate, test, and debug game software for slot machines

Requirements For Senior Software Engineer (Unity)

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development
  • 2D and 3D graphics programming experience (Unity preferred)
  • Proficient in C# or C++ with strong OOP concepts
  • Experience with IDEs/compilers, debuggers, profilers, and version control systems
  • Familiarity with Windows programming environment, Unity and Visual Studio
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong multi-tasking skills
