Key responsibilities include performing hardware repairs, troubleshooting complex system issues, installing new components, and managing the ticket queue. Responsibilities For Associate Engineer, Data Center (Manassas, VA)

  • Perform break-fix repairs including replacing failed drives, DIMMs, fans, power supplies, and other server hardware components
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues from contracted technicians
  • Install new SSD's and NVME's into existing servers
  • Conduct basic Linux OS and IPMI-level troubleshooting
  • Assist with troubleshooting autobuild failures
  • Diagnose and resolve physical-layer network connectivity issues
  • Execute hardware installations and repairs
  • Monitor and manage Jira ticket queue
  • Train and mentor contracted data center technicians
  • Participate in on-call rotation
