Responsibilities For Associate Engineer, Data Center (Richardson, TX)

  • Perform break-fix repairs on server hardware components
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues from contracted technicians
  • Install new SSD's and NVME's into existing servers
  • Conduct basic Linux OS and IPMI-level troubleshooting
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving autobuild failures
  • Diagnose and resolve physical-layer network connectivity issues
  • Execute hardware installations and repairs
  • Monitor and manage Jira ticket queue
  • Participate in onboarding new contracted data center technicians
  • Serve as a technical mentor for contracted data center technicians
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to support global data center operations
