Sr. Software Engineer - CI Platforms

LinkedIn, the world's largest professional network, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Developer Platforms and Experience (DPX) organization. This role is part of the CI Platform team, which is crucial in accelerating R&D velocity and driving product innovation across LinkedIn.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement based in Mountain View, CA, with a competitive salary range of $125,000 to $206,000 annually. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced engineers passionate about developer tooling and infrastructure.

The CI Platform team is currently undertaking significant initiatives, including migrating LinkedIn's CI infrastructure to GitHub Actions and redesigning their Microrepo infrastructure towards a monorepo-like structure. As a Senior Software Engineer on this team, you'll have the opportunity to influence and transform the developer experience at LinkedIn.

Key responsibilities include building and maintaining CI infrastructure and tools, developing scalable applications, and providing technical leadership. You'll work on systems that handle massive request volumes while maintaining high reliability and scalability. The role involves not just technical execution but also mentoring other engineers and contributing to the broader developer community.

The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of industry experience in software design and development, with a strong background in object-oriented or functional programming languages like Java, Python, or Scala. A BA/BS in Computer Science or related field is required.

Preferred qualifications include 4+ years of relevant work experience, experience with developer tools and infrastructure, CI/CD expertise, and familiarity with microservices or monorepos.
