Job Description
Loancrate is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead their team in revolutionizing the home buying process in the US. The company aims to automate mortgage workflows using AI-native tooling, potentially saving lenders billions annually. In this role, you will architect and launch complex AI agents, integrate with lending service APIs, and build the next generation of job processing infrastructure on AWS.
The tech stack includes TypeScript, React, Node/Express, GraphQL/Apollo, and Postgres, all managed on AWS with Terraform. Loancrate emphasizes developer experience, offering end-to-end type safety, full-stack code sharing, reproducible infrastructure, and first-class testing utilities to ensure high engineering and product velocity. Responsibilities
- Ship code to production on your first day
- Architect, build, and launch complex, multi-step AI agents that customers use to digitize their ops workflows and save millions of dollars per year
- Integrate with 3rd-party providers of lending services APIs to generate documents/disclosures, produce automated underwriting results, or prevent fraud
- Architect, build, and launch the next generation of job processing infrastructure on AWS to make Loancrate's back end more observable and reliable
Requirements
- 5-25 years of experience as a software engineer
- Preference for more senior folks
- 'Builder' mindset
- Ability to write code and contribute
- New grads or those with fewer than 5 years experience: hackathon winners, founders, and strong GitHubs ONLY
