Responsibilities For Associate Software Engineer

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code based on user requirements
  • Develop well maintainable quality software using agile methodologies
  • Participate in planning sessions with team members to analyse requirements
  • Demonstrate focus on quality through unit testing, integration testing and peer reviews
  • Document, review, and maintain technical reference material
  • Participate in team status meetings and provide timely updates

Requirements For Associate Software Engineer

Java
  • 1-3 years experience with good knowledge of JAVA, J2EE, AWS Architecture
  • Solid grasp of object-oriented programming
  • Familiar with various design patterns
  • Experience of unit testing
  • Excellent understanding of security implications and secure coding
  • Familiar with RESTful interfaces
  • Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance
  • Proficient using source code management tools such as Git or SVN
  • Experience with Test Driven Development and/or Behavior Driven Development
  • Engineering degree (desirable)
