Responsibilities For Associate Software Engineer
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code based on user requirements
- Develop well maintainable quality software using agile methodologies
- Participate in planning sessions with team members to analyse requirements
- Demonstrate focus on quality through unit testing, integration testing and peer reviews
- Document, review, and maintain technical reference material
- Participate in team status meetings and provide timely updates
Requirements For Associate Software Engineer
- 1-3 years experience with good knowledge of JAVA, J2EE, AWS Architecture
- Solid grasp of object-oriented programming
- Familiar with various design patterns
- Experience of unit testing
- Excellent understanding of security implications and secure coding
- Familiar with RESTful interfaces
- Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance
- Proficient using source code management tools such as Git or SVN
- Experience with Test Driven Development and/or Behavior Driven Development
- Engineering degree (desirable)
