PLG Sr Backend Engineer / Lead (Remote)

Lucidya, a customer intelligence platform serving the Middle East and beyond, is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer/Lead to join their Product-Led Growth (PLG) squad. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to architect and scale the backend foundations of Lucidya Light's PLG product. The role combines technical leadership with hands-on development, requiring expertise in Python, Ruby on Rails, and distributed systems.

As a Backend Lead, you'll be responsible for leading a team of engineers while designing resilient systems that power experimentation, self-serve onboarding, and retention loops at scale. The position requires 7-8 years of overall experience, with 5+ years in backend development and 2+ years in a leadership role. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend capabilities with PLG goals and ensure seamless integrations.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in both Python and Ruby on Rails, extensive experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, and a solid understanding of cloud platforms.
