Description For Data Analytics Engineer

Lugano Diamonds, a fast-growing luxury jewelry company, is seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to join their team in Newport Beach, California. This newly created role, reporting directly to the Vice President of technology, offers an exciting opportunity to become the cornerstone of Lugano's data infrastructure.

As a Data Analytics Engineer at Lugano, you will leverage your expertise in data analysis, software engineering, and statistical modeling to transform raw data into strategic insights that propel the business forward. You'll play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and workflows for processing and analyzing large-scale datasets. Your responsibilities will include performing complex data analysis, building and optimizing data models and machine learning algorithms, implementing ETL processes, and developing data visualizations and reports.

The ideal candidate will have professional experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, with expert-level proficiency in SQL and relational databases. You should have deep skills in data warehousing, ETL frameworks, and Azure Data Analytics technology. Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI and a solid understanding of machine learning techniques are also crucial.

Lugano offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary of $140,000 per year plus an annual bonus. Benefits include multi-option healthcare plans, a 401k with match, paid time off, and commission plans for all employees.
