Responsibilities For Cyber Security Engineer

  • Develop and improve monitoring, reporting, and alerts to identify and address threats
  • Develop and maintain threat models to prioritize risk management activities
  • Manage vulnerability scanning and penetration testing tools
  • Collaborate with clients, auditors, vendors, and internal teams to assess security posture
  • Investigate and verify reported vulnerabilities
  • Develop security strategies, scripts, and configurations

Requirements For Cyber Security Engineer

  • Associate Degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, or related field
  • Three years of experience in security engineering or related fields
  • Two years of experience designing and implementing security controls
  • Experience with AWS, Linux, Kubernetes, Git, log aggregation platforms
  • Knowledge of shell and Python scripting
  • Technical knowledge of cybersecurity tools and procedures
  • Ability to design and implement security controls across operating systems
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
