Associate Software Engineer

A.P. Moller - Maersk, a global leader in integrated container logistics, is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join their Technology organization as a Platform Engineer for their Event Streaming Platform. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with Kafka and Microsoft event streaming technologies at a globally respected company.

The position involves designing and building a robust Event Streaming Platform, focusing on automation, scalability, and reliability. You'll be responsible for developing platform components, ensuring seamless integration between services, and maintaining high performance standards. The role requires expertise in Kubernetes, Go/Python programming, and distributed systems, particularly Kafka.

As part of the team, you'll participate in on-call rotations, work directly with platform consumers, and contribute to the product roadmap. The ideal candidate should have 2+ years of experience in Platform Engineering or SRE roles, strong DevOps knowledge, and excellent communication skills.
