The position is based in Austin, TX, and offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $93,000 USD, along with potential relocation assistance. You'll be working in a state-of-the-art clean room environment, utilizing advanced techniques such as thin film deposition, dry etching, and various analytical methods.

Responsibilities For Associate Process Engineer

  • Perform thin film deposition processes, including sputtering, evaporation, and other relevant techniques
  • Develop and implement new dry etch processes by optimizing gas flows, chemistries, and power settings
  • Design and conduct experiments, analyze data (SEM, AFM, etc.), and recommend process improvements
  • Manage and execute wafer cleaning and preparation processes
  • Operate optical metrology tools to evaluate and validate process outcomes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project goals
  • Travel to vendor facilities to oversee and support custom fabrication processes
  • Maintain detailed documentation of processes, results, and improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations

Requirements For Associate Process Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, Physics, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience working in a clean room environment
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel to vendor sites
