MagicPace is seeking a Sr. Front End Developer / Shopify Developer to join their team. This role involves developing exceptional ecommerce experiences using technologies like Git, TypeScript, Liquid, and Shopify's APIs. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience, strong skills in modern JavaScript, CSS3, and HTML5, and experience with Shopify development. They will work on multiple projects, collaborating with designers and clients to build cutting-edge websites. Responsibilities For Sr. Front End Developer / Shopify Developer
- Develop and maintain ecommerce websites according to project requirements and best practices
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders
- Stay updated on Shopify updates, new features, and best practices
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, conduct root cause analysis
- Participate in Agile development processes
- Collaborate with third-party service providers for integrations
- Monitor application performance and implement enhancements
- Work with clients to build new sites and features
- Deliver features on-time
- Provide feedback on design completeness and feature feasibility
- Review other team members' code submissions
- Participate and sometimes lead client meetings and demos
Requirements For Sr. Front End Developer / Shopify Developer
- 5+ years of experience as a Front-End (or Full-Stack) developer
- Ability to balance demands of 2-3 projects at a given time
- Thorough understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6), CSS3, and HTML5
- Experience with Git and understanding of zsh or bash
- Experience building, launching, and maintaining Shopify stores (Liquid and ThemeKit)
- Appreciation of design
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in fast-paced projects
- Knowledge of application architecture
- Self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit
- Ability to present and communicate with clients clearly and confidently
