Makro PRO is seeking a Backend Engineer with expertise in Java and NodeJS for their technology department. This fully remote position offers an opportunity to work on enterprise integration architecture in a diverse, non-hierarchical environment. The role involves collaborating with Integration and Solution Architects to develop and refactor integrations, ensuring system flexibility through connector-based architecture. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Java Springboot, NestJS/ExpressJS, and database systems, particularly Oracle. Working in an agile scrum team, you'll be responsible for developing REST APIs and managing container deployments. The position offers a renewable contract and significant growth opportunities in a global team setting.
Responsibilities For Backend Engineer (Java & NodeJS)
- Work with Integration Architect and Solution Architects to write the Integration for the various requirements
- Analyse the current integration and plan for refactoring the same to conform to Enterprise Integration Architecture
- Integration should have abstraction to ensure that the source/destination systems can be changed by writing connectors
- Work as scrum teams
Requirements For Backend Engineer (Java & NodeJS)
- Experience in Java Springboot and NestJS/ExpressJS is a must
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science, or related field
- Sound knowledge of any relational database preferable Oracle Database
- Knowledge of Node JS, Java Script, Java for writing REST APIs
- Knowledge of deploying the APIs in containers
