Job Description

Marvell, a leading semiconductor solutions provider, is seeking a Staff Design Engineer specializing in Analog IC Design to join their team in Bangalore. This role is crucial in developing cutting-edge SerDes PHY solutions for data infrastructure that powers enterprise, cloud, AI, automotive, and carrier architectures.

The position offers an opportunity to work with advanced technology nodes (3nm, 2nm and beyond) in high-speed and high-performance Analog SerDes development. You'll be collaborating with cross-functional teams including DSP, Analog, and Digital design teams to develop SerDes Architecture. The role involves hands-on work with layout engineers, participation in IP characterization, and validation planning.

The ideal candidate should possess either a Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience or a Master's/PhD with 2-4 years of experience in electrical engineering. Strong expertise in CMOS analog circuit design, Serial link building blocks, and FinFET CMOS layout optimization is essential. Knowledge of Verilog-A and excellent communication skills are required.

Responsibilities For Staff Design Engineer - Analog IC Design

  • Work on high-speed and high performance Analog SerDes development in advanced technology nodes (3nm, 2nm and beyond)
  • Participate in SerDes Architecture Development with DSP, Analog and Digital design teams
  • Interact with layout engineers to achieve required circuit performance
  • Work with AE for IP characterization and validation plan
  • Support IP Lab characterization and debugging

Requirements For Staff Design Engineer - Analog IC Design

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related fields and 3-5 years of experience, or Master's/PhD with 2-4 years of experience
  • In-depth understanding of transistor level CMOS analog circuit design and basic building blocks
  • Experience in implementing Serial link building blocks for Tx/Rx and clock path circuits
  • Experience in optimizing FinFET CMOS layout to minimize parasitic
  • Knowledge in Verilog-A for analog behavioral modeling/simulation data capture
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Drive to continuously learn and grow
