Responsibilities For IT Platform Engineer (OpenShift) (Contract)

  • Manage day-to-day operations of Container Platform administration for business-critical systems
  • Handle cluster capacity management and provisioning through automation
  • Provide L2 and L3 operational and engineering support
  • Create and maintain system documentation and playbooks
  • Lead platform changes through change request process
  • Monitor service levels and implement service continuity measures
  • Mentor less experienced internal staff and vendor personnel

Requirements For IT Platform Engineer (OpenShift) (Contract)

  • 3 to 15 years experience in managing container platform specifically OpenShift
  • Experience in administration of container platforms like AKS, EKS
  • Knowledge of administrating Linux / Windows Operating systems
  • Experience in deployment of OpenShift cluster on-premises and in AWS
  • Experience in creating ansible playbooks
  • Experience working with multiple OpenShift or Kubernetes clusters
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Shell, Python, Perl)
  • Experience implementing OpenShift compliance against CIS frameworks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be organized, independent, and flexible
