Innovation Engineer (Full Stack)

Master-Works is seeking an Innovation Engineer (Full Stack) to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This hands-on engineering role focuses on rapidly building and validating digital Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) that support innovation initiatives across the company and its subsidiaries. The ideal candidate will be a product-focused full-stack developer capable of working across frontend and backend layers, integrating APIs, building quick interfaces, and collaborating with AI and business teams. The role demands expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks, Python, and cloud technologies, with a strong emphasis on rapid development and innovation. Working in a highly agile environment, you'll transform abstract ideas into functional demos and internal tools, requiring both technical excellence and creative problem-solving abilities. Responsibilities For Innovation Engineer (Full Stack)
- Design and develop full-stack applications that serve as prototypes or MVPs for innovation use cases
- Build responsive, interactive, and mobile-friendly UIs using React.js, Next.js
- Develop scalable backends using Node.js, Python (FastAPI/Flask)
- Integrate external APIs and internal services
- Apply rapid development principles to deliver functional PoCs
- Package and present working demos with documentation
- Participate in ideation and solution workshops
- Create internal utilities or toolkits
- Ensure code is modular, reusable, and well-documented
Requirements For Innovation Engineer (Full Stack)
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related IT field
- 3+ years of experience in full-stack development
- Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, especially React.js, and Node.js
- Strong grasp of RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and real-time communication
- Hands-on experience working with UI/UX design tools (especially Figma)
- Solid backend experience using Node.js, Express, or Python-based frameworks
- Experience with cloud-native development
- Fast learner with a hacker mindset and strong product sensibility
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Arabic language handling and localization experience is an advantage
