Maximor AI is building an AI-powered finance team for scaling companies, automating tasks like closing books, reconciling cash, forecasting revenue, and preparing board decks. Unlike traditional SaaS solutions, Maximor's AI agents plug into existing finance stacks and reason across fragmented data to deliver instant, auditable outputs. This approach targets the $1T+ financial back-office problem with infrastructure that feels like magic but holds up to audit.
As a Founding Backend Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the stack, team, and product. The role involves tackling complex challenges such as reasoning agents, fragmented data, and workflow orchestration under audit constraints. You will be going from 0 to 1 repeatedly across a compound product.
The position is based in New York City, offering an in-person or hybrid work environment. The compensation includes a salary range of $150,000 - $300,000, along with equity ranging from 0.3% to 1%. Benefits also include visa sponsorship.
