Job Description

Medtronic is seeking a Software Engineer I to join their Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) team in Mounds View, Minnesota. This role is part of their cloud data engineering team responsible for developing, monitoring, and operating their state-of-the-art data mart platform. The position involves working with cloud native tooling to automate operational tasks and integrate the data mart platform with external systems.

The role requires participation in an on-call rotation to ensure platform uptime and involves working on-site 4 days per week as part of their commitment to fostering a culture of professional growth and cross-functional collaboration. Less than 10% travel is required to enhance collaboration and ensure successful project completion.

As a Software Engineer I, you'll be responsible for optimizing performance, efficiency, and cost to provide best-in-class value for the CRM business and customers. The position offers opportunities to work with cutting-edge cloud technologies, particularly AWS services like Glue, Lambda, EMR, Athena, and Data Lake Formation.
