The IT Service Management (ITSM) team is responsible for managing and operating IT hardware and software used across the entire Mercari group. Their goal is to ensure all members can focus on their work comfortably and safely through daily support and operations. The team contributes to solving user issues and maintaining stable IT service operations.
This position offers unique challenges, including working in a rare environment that combines thousands of users with cloud and SaaS-native infrastructure. You'll have the opportunity to build and operate IT infrastructure that meets global standards and directly impact the company through IT service and asset management.
The role involves managing IT projects, overseeing the IT Service Desk team, handling escalated support issues, and managing budgets and contracts for hardware and software assets. You'll also support the engineering organization with AI/LLM tool management.
