Hardware Systems Engineer, NPI AI

Meta is seeking an experienced Hardware Systems Engineer to join their Release to Production (RTP) team, focusing on AI/ML initiatives that support large-scale AI Training and Inference. This role sits at the intersection of hardware and software engineering, working with cutting-edge technology in Meta's datacenter infrastructure.

The position involves leading the validation and deployment of advanced hardware systems, with a particular focus on ASIC productization in datacenter applications. As a Hardware Systems Engineer, you'll collaborate with diverse teams including hardware designers, networking specialists, system manufacturers, and datacenter operations teams. You'll be responsible for end-to-end system validation, developing and implementing robust test plans, and ensuring the reliable operation of complex hardware systems.

The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of hands-on engineering experience, with strong expertise in ASIC performance characterization, hardware-software integration, and system validation. You should be proficient in programming languages like Python and C++, and have experience with various hardware components including PCIe, Serdes, networking, and memory systems.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on next-generation AI hardware systems at scale, with competitive compensation ranging from $132,000 to $191,000 per year, plus bonus and equity.
