Production Systems Engineer, Foundation Labs

Meta is seeking an experienced Production Hardware Systems Engineer to join the Foundation Labs team, which plays a crucial role in deploying, testing, validating, and debugging new platform hardware before mass production. This position, based in Bangalore, India, offers an opportunity to impact hardware platforms deployed at massive scale.

The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with strong independent working capabilities, high attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills. The role involves extensive work with server hardware systems, requiring expertise in Linux environments and hardware testing methodologies. You'll be responsible for setting up pre-production hardware, performing various system tests, and managing test resources.

This position combines hands-on technical work with documentation and process improvement, requiring both technical expertise and strong communication skills. The role offers exposure to cutting-edge hardware platforms and the chance to work with Meta's infrastructure team, supporting the company's massive technical infrastructure.

Key technical areas include Linux systems, server hardware testing, BMC operations, and test automation. The position requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, plus 3+ years of relevant experience. Knowledge of PCIe test fixtures and Python scripting is advantageous.
