Job Description

Micron Technology, a world leader in memory and storage solutions, is seeking a Data Analytics Engineer for their Embedded Business Unit. This role combines technical expertise with business intelligence to drive data-driven solutions across the organization.

As a Data Analytics Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing BI systems, creating data visualization solutions, and optimizing data processes across the organization. The role requires expertise in Microsoft BI Suite, data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau, and strong project management skills.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 4 years of experience, with specific expertise in project management methodologies, BI tools, and data visualization. You'll work cross-functionally to develop new data initiatives, create meaningful dashboards and reports, and drive data-driven decision-making across the Embedded Business Unit.

Responsibilities For Data Analytics Engineer, Embedded Business Unit

  • Identify and drive data and information solutions for the organization
  • Develop and implement systems supporting various functional groups within EBU
  • Implement BI software and systems, including database integration
  • Create tools, dashboards, and reports based on requests from various functional groups
  • Perform statistical analysis and basic programming
  • Visualize key concepts from multiple data sources
  • Optimize data output and collection from functional groups
  • Create and maintain consistency in reporting across the organization
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop new data initiatives and automation

Requirements For Data Analytics Engineer, Embedded Business Unit

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Management, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
  • 4 years of experience in Project Management methodologies (Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid)
  • 3 years of experience in Microsoft Business Intelligence Suite of tools
  • 2 years of experience in code management systems/concepts
  • 2 years of experience in Business Intelligence & Analytics concepts
  • 2 years of experience with data visualization tools including Power BI, Tableau
