Job Description

Micron Technology, a global leader in memory and storage solutions, is seeking a Staff Engineer for their Scribe Design Non-Array (SDNA) team. This role is crucial in designing and verifying CMOS electrical test structures that enable device development, compact modeling, and fab process monitoring. As part of a global team spanning India, Japan, and the US, you'll contribute to physical layout, floor planning, and verification processes across all Micron technology types.

The position offers an opportunity to work at the cutting edge of memory technology, focusing on N, N+1, and N+2 process technology nodes. You'll be responsible for ensuring the integrity of TEG designs through various verification tools while maintaining high customer satisfaction. The role requires strong technical expertise in CMOS devices and the ability to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects.

Responsibilities For Staff Engineer, Scribe Design Non-Array

  • Design, layout, and verification of CMOS electrical test structures
  • Physical layout, floor planning and verifying through DRC and in-house verification tools
  • Verify integrity of the TEG design through LVS, DRC, E-simulation
  • Drive forums with customers to maintain high customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate activities related to Scribe scheduling, design, improvement and Tape Out
  • Understand the Fab Quality performance of Scribe designs
  • Mentor junior level engineers in the scribe team
  • Define and lead complex multi-disciplinary projects

Requirements For Staff Engineer, Scribe Design Non-Array

  • Strong knowledge in different families of CMOS devices (Planar/Finfet)
  • Experience with layout methodology, simulations and automation for TEG solutions
  • Ability to understand existing methodologies and provide enhancements
  • Strong technical leadership and mentoring capabilities
  • Experience with CMOS device development and compact modeling
