Microsoft is seeking a Data Center Operations Engineer to join their team in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This role is crucial for maintaining and optimizing the operations of Microsoft's data center facilities, requiring a blend of technical expertise and operational management skills.
The position involves overseeing the maintenance and operation of all machinery that supports the critical load inside a Data Center. As a Critical Environment Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of complex systems including building cooling, electrical, mechanical, and life safety systems, while working with various monitoring systems such as EPMS, BCM, BAS, and BMS.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in datacenter or critical environment facilities, along with a Technical College degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Strong communication skills in both English and Portuguese are essential, as you'll be working with both local and global teams.
