Data Solution Engineer Global Black Belt

Microsoft's Commercial Solution Area (CSA) is seeking a Data Solution Engineer Global Black Belt to join their team. This is a technical leadership position working with Microsoft's most important enterprise customers to drive cloud computing transformation. The role combines deep technical expertise with strategic sales capabilities, focusing on Data & Analytics solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

As a Data Solution Engineer Global Black Belt, you'll be responsible for securing technical decisions and helping customers realize their digital transformation through cloud computing. You'll work directly with C-level executives, architecting secure and scalable solutions, and accelerating Data and Analytics adoption. The role requires expertise in Microsoft Azure Databases (SQL DB, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, MySQL) or Analytics platforms (Fabric, Azure Databricks, Purview).

The position offers a competitive base salary range of $130,900 - $251,900 USD (higher in SF Bay Area and NYC), along with comprehensive benefits including healthcare, educational resources, and parental leave. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in-office with 25-50% travel.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience, deep knowledge of cloud architectures, and strong executive presence. You'll be expected to influence technical decisions, develop solution accelerators, and act as a thought leader in the data and analytics space.
