Job Description

Microsoft's Azure Customer Experience (CXP) team is seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Customer Experience Engineer to join their ACES Strategic team (Advanced Cloud Engineering & Supportability). This role focuses on supporting strategic Azure customers through incident management, problem resolution, and technical support.

As a customer-focused Advanced Cloud Engineer, you'll be the primary engineering contact for customer support experience on Azure. You'll work closely with Customer Success Account Managers, Cloud Solution Architects, and Technical Support Engineers to resolve critical issues and support key customer projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing customer incidents and providing technical troubleshooting
  • Developing insights and best practices from customer telemetry
  • Serving as a technical escalation point for complex issues
  • Conducting root cause analysis and driving improvements
  • Partnering with product teams to represent customer feedback
  • Mentoring team members and contributing to knowledge sharing

Requirements For Senior Azure Cloud Customer Experience Engineer

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Data Analytics/Science, AI, or related field
  • 4+ years experience in technology industry, cloud, technical support, or customer experience engineering
  • 4+ years experience supporting and troubleshooting enterprise level applications
  • 2+ years experience with on-call and mission critical incident mitigation
  • Expertise in Cloud technologies (IaaS, PaaS, Monitoring)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check
