Senior Data Platform Engineer

The EngThrive Insights team is responsible for understanding the developer experience. Our mission is to deliver insights that enable Microsoft to be the best place to work as an engineer, where it is fast and easy to do great work.

In this role, you will work as a senior engineer supporting the data platform that underpins EngThrive insights. Your responsibilities will include designing and maintaining data pipelines, curating high-quality datasets, performing in-depth data analysis, developing dashboards, and building the data and AI infrastructure that supports these capabilities and our missions.

You will be responsible for:

• Architecting scalable and sustainable system architectures
• Leading by example and producing extensible and maintainable code
• Building consensus across engineering teams
• Contributing to core platform components
• Engaging directly with customers and product teams
• Driving operational excellence in managing large-scale data systems

The position offers competitive compensation with a base pay range of USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year (higher in SF Bay Area and NYC: USD $158,400 - $258,000).
