Senior Hardware Engineer

Microsoft's Silicon, Cloud Hardware, and Infrastructure Engineering (SCHIE) team is seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer to join their innovative cloud infrastructure division. This role is central to Microsoft's expanding cloud infrastructure, supporting over 200 online businesses including Azure, Office 365, Xbox Live, and Teams.

The position offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge hardware design in a highly collaborative environment. You'll be responsible for leading VR design of AI hardware, working with both internal and external partners to define and implement power requirements for next-generation cloud systems. The role combines technical expertise in hardware engineering with strategic thinking about cost, time, and risk management.

The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in multiphase buck & PDN design, VR validation, and power modeling, along with a proven track record of collaboration with silicon and packaging teams.
