Senior Software Engineer

Frontier Foundry (F²) is IDC's bold new innovation engine — a design-led, full-stack engineering team delivering multimodal, AI-powered experiences across Surface, Windows, and Copilot. Operating outside traditional platform constraints, F² is built to move fast, think big, and build from the edge.

As a Senior Software Engineer at F², you'll be part of a fast-moving, full-stack squad focused on core charters including Surface Acceleration, Multimodal Innovation, or AI Agents. You'll contribute to functional software increments every sprint, working on cutting-edge technologies and interfaces.

The role demands hands-on engineering excellence, strong product design sensibility, and expertise in AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot, Copilot Studio, and AI Foundry. You'll be building next-generation experiences that combine multiple interaction models including inking, stylus, voice, touch, sensors, and haptics.

You'll thrive in a dynamic environment where you can shape user experiences, make informed trade-offs, and work closely with cross-functional teams.
