The role combines software engineering with infrastructure operations, focusing on maintaining and improving Microsoft's security platforms. Responsibilities For Site Reliability Engineer II

  • Apply expert level knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing, VPNs, Proxy etc.)
  • Design and implement networking solutions for reliability and scalability across cloud platforms
  • Lead incident responses for service disruptions and perform root-cause analysis
  • Drive reliability and performance through monitoring, alerting, and process automation
  • Configure and design end-to-end service telemetry and smart alerting
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and exercise cross-team cooperation

Requirements For Site Reliability Engineer II

  • 4+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration
  • 3+ years of expertise in networking implementation and troubleshooting
  • 3+ years of experience working on cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in desktop or application virtualization using Azure Virtual Desktop
  • 2+ experience of Active Directory and Entra ID Authentication
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Must pass Microsoft Cloud background check
