Job Description

Microsoft Security is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer II to join their Identity team supporting Azure Government Secret and Top-Secret Clouds. This role is crucial in Microsoft's mission to transform security by empowering individuals, organizations, and developers with a comprehensive security cloud.

The position offers an opportunity to work at the heart of Cloud Computing, specifically on services that power every part of Azure. You'll be part of the Identity team, focusing on Azure Government Secret and Top-Secret Clouds, making this a unique opportunity to grow and make significant impact.

As an SRE II, you'll be responsible for designing and developing state-of-the-art Azure services, ensuring service quality, availability, and reliability. The role involves hands-on work with large-scale cloud and distributed systems, participating in live-site support, and being part of an on-call rotation to maintain service excellence.

The position requires a strong technical background with either a Master's degree and 1+ years of experience or a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in software engineering or related fields. A key requirement is holding an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with SCI access and passing Microsoft Cloud background checks.

  • U.S. citizenship required
  • 2+ years technical experience working with large-scale cloud or distributed systems
