Job Description

Microsoft Azure Edge + Platform (E+P) is seeking a Software Engineer to join their globally distributed team responsible for delivering Microsoft's edge vision and platform services. The role is within the Cloud Security team, specifically focusing on Platform Integrity.

The position involves working on critical security features like Bitlocker, KeyGuard, SecureBoot, Code Integrity, and HVCI. These tools are essential for device security, protecting user secrets, and ensuring system integrity against sophisticated modern threats. The Platform Integrity team ensures that system components are properly verified through features like Secure Boot, Code Integrity, Application Control for Business, Smart App Control, and HVCI.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about system security and low-level software development. The position offers competitive compensation with a base pay range of $84,200 - $165,200 per year (higher in SF Bay Area and NYC). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C/C++ or Rust development, with a preference for experience in Operating System or low-level development (Kernel, Drivers, Firmware).
