Job Description

Microsoft's Employee Voice and Engagement (EVE) team is seeking a Software Engineer II to join their mission of driving workforce transformation through real-time feedback and AI-powered insights. This role is part of the team responsible for developing Copilot experiences in EVE, working with cutting-edge technologies including LLM prompt engineering and distributed systems.

The position offers an opportunity to work on Viva Glint and Viva Pulse products, which enable world-class sentiment collection and reporting through organizational benchmarks and team listening tools. As a Software Engineer II, you'll be instrumental in designing and delivering EVE Copilot product experiences, focusing on customer trust and user delight.

The role requires strong technical expertise in service engineering, with experience in languages like Java, JavaScript, or Python. You'll be working with cloud technologies (Azure or comparable) and will need experience with LLMs and prompt engineering. The ideal candidate should have 2+ years of technical engineering experience and a background in Computer Science or related field.

Microsoft offers a comprehensive benefits package including industry-leading healthcare, educational resources, savings and investments opportunities, and generous parental leave. The base salary range is $100,600 - $199,000 per year (higher for SF Bay Area and NYC locations: $131,400 - $215,400).
