Software Engineer II - CTJ - Poly

Microsoft is seeking a Software Engineer II for their Cloud+AI Silver Team, focusing on developing and operating cloud-scale Hybrid Networking services in airgapped environments. The role is part of the Azure Silver Hybrid Networking team, which provides critical hybrid connectivity solutions including ExpressRoute, VPN, and vWAN, along with application delivery and security services.

The position requires an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with SCI access and involves working with highly secured and regulated industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and developing cloud infrastructure that meets strict security policies and assurance requirements for both public and private sector customers.

Key responsibilities include acting as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) for on-call monitoring, developing standardized software solutions, contributing to automation in production and deployment, and maintaining communication with key partners across Microsoft's ecosystem. The role involves hands-on development work with various programming languages and tools, while following Agile best practices.

The compensation package is competitive, with a base salary range of $100,600 - $199,000 per year (higher for San Francisco and New York locations: $131,400 - $215,400).
