As a Software Engineer II in the CISO Operations team, you'll be responsible for improving and expanding the security of Azure and other infrastructure through implementing security controls and custom tooling. You'll work on building capabilities and automation to enhance the security posture of Microsoft's cloud infrastructure, bringing alignment to standards, processes, and technologies.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing secure cloud-native applications and services
• Developing security automation and tooling for threat detection and response
• Implementing infrastructure security controls like network segmentation and encryption
• Building CI/CD pipeline security with various security checks
• Creating and managing infrastructure-as-code with security best practices
• Collaborating with product, platform, and SRE teams
• Mentoring engineers on secure design patterns

The role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 2+ years of technical engineering experience. Must have active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with SCI access. The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $100,600 - $199,000 per year (higher in SF Bay Area and NYC).
