Sr. Digital Solution Engineer - Azure Infra

Microsoft is seeking a Senior Digital Solution Engineer specializing in Azure Infrastructure to join their Cloud & AI technical team. This role combines technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities, focusing on helping organizations modernize their infrastructure and leverage AI capabilities.

The position sits within the Small Medium Enterprises and Channel (SME&C) division, which leads Microsoft's high-growth, AI-powered global sales initiatives. This team plays a crucial role in unlocking business opportunities across various customer segments while working closely with Microsoft's partner ecosystem.

As a Sr. Digital Solution Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

• Leading technical pre-sales activities including demonstrations, proofs of concept, and architecture sessions
• Designing and implementing secure, scalable Azure solutions
• Collaborating with platform leads and engineering teams to resolve technical challenges
• Building strategic customer success plans and driving Azure adoption
• Providing technical mentorship and supporting partner engagement

The ideal candidate should have deep technical expertise in:

• Cloud and hybrid infrastructure architectures
• Database administration and development (particularly SQL)
• Azure services including SQL DB, Cosmos DB, Data Factory, and Synapse Analytics
• Solution architecture and technical pre-sales
